The Big Apple--New York City!!!

Vacation- 6/19/08-Pennsylvania

I am here in the country land of Pennsylvania. It is beautiful here...lush and green all over with a river running just behind the house. Yesterday we all went to the local carnival. We ate some food and ice cream and I went on some rides. I went on "Zipper" with Brenda (Allen's wife)...it is like a cart that takes you all the way around in every direction while a bigger thing turns you around like a really fast ferris wheel. I also went on a ride where you sit in a swing and go in circles really, really fast. Then, all of us played the game where you shoot water at a target and whoever fills up the water bucket first wins. We played that twice. First, Mom won, then Brenda won.

Then, we all went back to Mama McHenry's house and sat on the porch.

Dance Recital

Jennifer had her dance recital on Friday and Saturday. She was in 7 dances and in all three shows she appeared on stage 20 times!
